Anxiety can be a lot to deal with…

For some people, it pops up once in a blue moon. Personally, it’s something I struggle with on a daily basis.

I guess it’s what they’d consider chronic anxiety?

I’ll feel fine and then *boom* it hits me out of nowhere (a bit more often than I’d like to admit).

That said, it’s definitely something I’ve gotten better at dealing with!

But I’m far from perfect…

Anyways, one of the things that helps me the most is a note I have on my phone with a bunch of calming bible verses written down.

I figured I’d share them in case they help someone else too!

1

Isaiah 41:10

“Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”

2

Matthew 6:25-27

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life…can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life?”

3

Proverbs 12:25

“Anxiety weighs down the human heart, but a good word cheers it up.”

4

Jeremiah 29:11

“For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.”

5

Psalm 94:19

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”

6

Hebrews 13:6

"So we can confidently say, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?'"

7

Philippians 4:6

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."

8

2 Timothy 1:7

"For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."

9

Romans 15:13

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

10

Matthew 6:34

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

11

Mark 5:36
